Chrome extension · works on Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday and LinkedIn
Stop retyping your resume.
Apply from LinkedIn in one click.
jobwhat fills job applications from a profile you set up once, colours your LinkedIn results so you never open the same job twice, queues the ones you want and applies for you — all on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Everything unlocked for 14 days, free, no card. Then $9/month or $49/year for Pro — no account, no licence key.
Three steps, then it's just clicking
Set up once
Drop in your resume. jobwhat reads your name, contact details, work history and education on your machine and fills your profile. Answer the work-authorization and EEO questions a single time.
Search LinkedIn as usual
Every job card gets three small buttons — log, hide, queue — and cards colour themselves as you go: green applied, yellow viewed, red hidden, blue queued.
Apply in one click, or let the queue do it
On any Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever or Workday form, press Autofill and review. Or queue jobs from LinkedIn and jobwhat opens each one in a background tab, fills it and submits, logging the result.
Everything the job search needs, none of what it doesn't
No job board of our own, no resume rewriter, no “AI interview coach”. Just the parts that save hours.
Autofill on four ATSs
Names, contact, links, location, education, work authorization, EEO, resume and cover letter — including react-select dropdowns, searched school lists and Workday's multi-step wizard. Never presses Submit for you.
A better LinkedIn
Log a job as applied, hide the ones you won't take, queue the ones you will. The colours follow you across every search so the same posting never wastes a second click.
Queue and auto-submit
Queue a job and jobwhat follows the company's Apply link, fills the form, submits, and marks it Auto-submitted — or Failed submit with the reason and the tab left open for you.
AI assist, on your machine
For questions the rules don't know, a small model runs inside your browser and answers from your profile. Two to choose from, downloaded once, and every AI answer is flagged for you to check.
One log of everything
Applied, viewed, hidden and queued in one searchable list. Filters, your own status names, editable dates, multi-line notes, reminders that light up when due, CSV export.
Nothing leaves your browser
Profile, resume, log and AI all stay in the extension's storage on your computer. The only network call is the subscription check. Export or erase everything with one click.
Privacy
Your job search stays on your computer
Other tools run your resume through their servers. jobwhat doesn't have servers for that. The profile you type, the resume you attach, every application you log and every answer the on-device AI writes live in the extension's storage in your browser — and stay there.
- ✓One network call, ever: checking your Pro subscription.
- ✓AI models are downloaded once from Hugging Face and run locally — questions and answers never go anywhere.
- ✓Export everything as JSON or CSV, or erase it, from Settings.
- ✓Readable code: the extension ships unminified, so anyone can check what it does.
- Your profile & resume
- Stored in your browser. Used to fill forms you open.
- Job pages you visit
- Read on Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday and LinkedIn to find the form and the job cards. Nothing is sent.
- Your subscription email
- Sent to our Cloudflare Worker, which asks Stripe whether it has a live subscription. Nothing else about you.
- Feedback you send
- Only when you press Send in the feedback form: your stars, category, text, build number.

Questions
Does jobwhat send my resume or profile anywhere?
No. Your profile, resume, cover letter, job log and settings live in the extension's storage inside your browser. Network calls are limited to three: checking your subscription when you unlock Pro, the one-time download of an AI model if you opt in, and a one-way hash of your LinkedIn member id sent once so the free trial can't be restarted by reinstalling (the hash can't be turned back into you). The AI models run inside your browser too — the questions on a form and the answers never leave your machine.
Which job boards does it fill?
Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever and Workday — including Workday's account-and-wizard flow, which most tools skip. On LinkedIn it adds the log / hide / queue buttons and the colour coding; it doesn't fill LinkedIn's own Easy Apply forms yet.
Does the Autofill button submit the application?
No. Autofill fills the form and flags what it left for you; you review and press Submit. The apply queue is different: jobs you deliberately queue are filled and submitted automatically, and the log records what happened to each one.
What happens when the queue can't finish an application?
The tab is left open where it stopped — a CAPTCHA, a sign-in wall, a validation error — and the log entry becomes “Failed submit” with the reason in its notes, so you can finish by hand.
What are the on-device AI models for?
The built-in rules know the usual fields. For questions they don't recognise, a small model (LFM2.5 350M or Qwen 2.5 0.5B, your pick) answers from your profile. Every AI answer is flagged in the badge so you can check it. The model is optional and about 255–510 MB, downloaded once.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, and a free trial first: every install gets all of Pro for 14 days, no card. After that the job log, the LinkedIn buttons and colours, reminders, the feedback form and a few autofills stay free; Pro adds unlimited autofills, the apply queue with auto-submit, and the on-device AI — $9 a month, or $49 a year (55% less).
How do I cancel?
From the Plan tab in the extension — “Manage subscription” opens Stripe's billing portal. There are no licence keys to keep track of; Pro is tied to the email you paid with.
